Lahore, Pakistan: In a dedicated effort to bolster public convenience, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has introduced an innovative mobile application.

During an official announcement, Commissioner Lahore and DG LDA, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, introduced this technological advancement, underscoring the app’s wide-ranging services.

The LDA mobile application is designed to provide citizens with easy access to a comprehensive suite of LDA services.

One of the standout features of the app is its ability to empower individuals to assess the status of private housing societies before they consider making any investments.

Additionally, the application offers a detailed catalog of approved housing societies while also shedding light on those that operate without proper authorization.

Taking a proactive approach, Commissioner Lahore and the DG LDA recently collaborated with local journalists to visit the One Window Cell, where they actively sought feedback from citizens regarding the services on offer.

During their visit, they discussed the revitalization of the One Window Cell and the measures taken in alignment with directives from the Chief Minister.

One particularly noteworthy initiative launched through this platform is the ‘Dastak LDA at Doorstep’ program. This program offers free home services to senior citizens aged 75 and above. For those who desire premium services, they are available for a nominal fee.

Commissioner Lahore highlighted the remarkable improvement in the performance of the One Window Cell system, with pending applications reduced from 1,300 to just 200, showcasing the dedication to streamlining the process further by actively incorporating suggestions and feedback from the public.
